The Young Leaders Group is a group of ULI members under 35 years of age.
The series of YLG networking, speaker/panel discussion events as well as members-only programs such as “Lunch with Executives” and mentorship program provide young professionals with opportunities to meet, learn, and grow.

YLG Lunch with Executives series provides opportunities for young professionals to sit down with leading industry executives over lunch in a small-group setting and gain unique insights on topics such as career development and current market trends.
On a monthly basis, the YLG organizes events that feature key persons in the industry to learn and discuss hot topics in the market as well as conduct site tours of newly completed projects. Such programs are usually held in the evenings followed by networking drinks.
While most of the YLG events allocate time for networking drinks, YLG hosts two events dedicated solely for networking in the summer and the winter. These events are attended by 60 – 90 professionals both young and seasoned and provide a place to expand business connections and cultivate the existing relationships.
Young Leaders have the opportunities to attend the annual ULI Asia Pacific Summit where close to 700 members across the globe gather to exchange knowledge and information. In the past years, YLG Japan sponsored total of 5 young professionals to attend the summit in Hong Kong (2018) and Shanghai (2019) The 2022 Summit was held as a hybrid event in Hong Kong from Aug 30 – Sept.
The value of ULI membership for young professionals is found in the exposure to education and information as well as networking opportunities that are rarely accessible in regular work settings. The annual membership fee is only 167 USD and is one of the best investment you can make to fortify your professional career.
