In 2009, Yusuke Yabumoto graduated from Kyoto University Faculty of Economics and joined Mizuho Securities. As an analyst, Yabumoto engaged in corporate finance, industry, technology, and management research in the insurance, financial, and real estate sectors. In 2016, Yabumoto joined COUNTERWORKS and launched SHOPCOUNTER and SHOPCOUNTER Enterprise. Currently, Yabumoto is working to promote digital transformation leasing and facility operation management in the commercial real estate industry.

As Director, Yuzo Kuwajiima oversees supply acquisition, revenue management, marketing, and product planning. Before joining matsuri technologies as Head of Sales in February 2020, just at the beginning of the COVID outbreak, Kuwajima worked at OYO LIFE. He led the expansion of the supply in the Tokyo market and was responsible for the Osaka business, overseeing the establishment and closure of the Osaka base. Within matsuri technologies, he spearheaded the leasing department, maintaining an occupancy rate of about 80% during the pandemic. At the time, the private lodging business was considered highly volatile and unsustainable. However, the company’s operational approach and track record were recognized as stable cash flow, leading to the launch of the first real estate fund primarily focused on the private lodging business. To this day, matsuri technologies has successfully launched six funds with an AUM of approximately 20 billion yen thanks to the partnership with Tokyu Livable and JBC.

Ariel Shtarkman is Managing Partner of Undivided Ventures, VC platform investing in early-stage technology companies which have identified a pathway to a more sustainable future for the built environment - real estate, infrastructure and cities. She is also the Founder of Orca Capital, boutique investment firm and family office focusing on real estate and technology. Previously, Ariel was with Citibank Real Estate Structured Finance in Hong Kong, where she structured debt instruments for real estate developers, REITs and private equity funds. Before joining Citibank, she worked in real estate private equity funds sponsored by ING Clarion in New York (covering US) and ING Real Estate Investment Management in Hong Kong (covering Asia). Ariel holds an MBA from Columbia Business School with concentration in Real Estate, and BSc from Tel Aviv University with double major in Computer Science and Business Administration. She serves as Senior Content Adviser of Urban Land Institute (ULI) Asia Pacific, and is ULI Global Governing Trustee. Ariel is fluent in English, Hebrew and Russian, and conversant in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. Her other interests include martial arts, integration of technology and real estate, and the future of education.

During his tenure at PricewaterhouseCoopers KK (now PwC Advisory GK), Hibiki specialized in financial due diligence, valuation, and financial modeling. Afterwards he worked in Angelo Gordon International LLC, where he focused on real estate acquisitions. Later, he founded RESTAR, Inc., creating "REMETIS," an innovative integrated data platform combining real estate and geographic information. He graduated from Hitotsubashi University with a degree in Economics and is a Certified Public Accountant
