After joining Takara Komuten Co., Ltd., the predecessor of Takara Leben, Kazuichi Shimada engaged in new land development including the purchase of business sites, and assumed the position of Director, General Manager of Development Division. He became Representative Director, Vice President in 2006 and Representative Director and President in 2014 after serving as Managing Director and Executive General Manager of Development Division. As President, he implemented a series of progressive management measures, including capital increase based on Japan’s first rights offering and listing of Takara Leben Infrastructure Fund, Inc. (first to be listed on infrastructure fund market). He expanded the business scope from the real estate sales business to include the renewable energy business utilizing solar power generation and investment management business for listed investment corporations. Announcing a new Medium-Term Management Plan, the company is eyeing further growth beyond 2022, its 50th anniversary from establishment.
