    Yoshihiko Ito

    Division Senior Manager, Marketing Headquarters, Shinagawa Community Development Division, East Japan Railway Company

    Yoshihiko Ito has worked as a railroad architectural specialist at JR East on a wide range of station building improvement and maintenance work, from large terminal stations to small and medium-sized regional stations. Since June 2018, he has been directing the Shinagawa Development Project, which pursues the "Ekimachi" concept of integration of rail stations with their surroundings. The concept of this community planning project is "an experimental place for the creation of a rich life 100 years into the future," and the project is aiming to open its doors in March 2025. Currently, he is a member of the Architectural Institute of Japan and the Association of Railway Architects.

    William Chilton

    Principal, Pickard Chilton

    William Chilton has directed projects for leading corporate, developer, and institutional clients worldwide. In Tokyo, he led the design of Mitsui Fudosan’s Tokyo Midtown Yaesu in collaboration with Nihon Sekkei and Takenaka. Chilton also led the master plan for Global Gateway Shinagawa and is currently leading the design of Block IV, a 460,000 m2 mixed-use high-rise development in collaboration with a joint venture of JRED, Nikken Sekkei, and Nihon Sekkei. Chilton is a Governor of the ULI Foundation, a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, and the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows.

    ton is a member of the Urban Land Institute Japan Council and Executive Committee, Co-Chair of the ULI Asia Awards jury, a founding leader of the ULI Japan Sustainability Product Council, and is leading efforts to introduce the ULI Urban Plan workshop program to high schools and universities in Japan, as well as a Governor and Treasurer of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan.

    Yoshiya Amanai

    Manager, Marketing Headquarters, Shinagawa Community Development Division , East Japan Railway Company

    Yoshiya Amanai joined East Japan Railway Company as the Shinagawa Community Development Marketing Division Manager, and worked in management, marketing and renewal of commercial facilities such as Atre. He also studied abroad in the United States for two years. After returning to Japan, he has been in charge of station area development in the Tokyo metropolitan area since 2010. Amanai has been involved in the Shinagawa development project for over 10 years, starting from the conceptualization stage and including the concept and planning of Takanawa Gateway Station.
